Recap of our Cornhole Showdown fundraiser
Today’s Cornhole Showdown play day and auction was a HUGE success! Despite a last-minute venue change, we had about fifty people come out to toss some bags, meet our students, and bid on the handmade sets of boards. Most of our students were there with their family and friends, too.
Even for those who had never heard of the game, by the end of the day, everyone was crazy for Cornhole! And after some heated bidding wars settled and the silent auction was closed, we raised over $1000 to go towards our next project’s materials and construction: public chicken coops and flood rebuilding efforts. Thank you to all of our students and everyone who attended! Check out the video and photos below to get a sense of the day!
